Supervisor Gutierrez Weekly District 5 Message -Happy New Year!

Hello Riverside County District 5 residents and Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and that you’re just as excited as I am to start this new year. 

The New Year brings about resolutions for new beginnings and I am beyond excited for the new beginning we are taking together with my election to the Riverside County Board of Supervisors for the 5th District. I want you all to take this journey with me as I am committed to continually reaching out for public input. We do that in a variety of ways, including a new Telephone Townhall that we will be initiating shortly. I want to thank you all for your support during the election. Please know that I will work for everyone in this District. I look forward to building new relationships and partnerships within our county to strengthen our community.

I have many exciting plans that I would like to bring to the county that I’ll get started on right away. I look forward to taking on homelessness and I have plans to aid in economic recovery from the Covid pandemic for small businesses and residents alike. I look forward to expanding and further supporting the infrastructure of our county as we continue to expand across all the great cities and unincorporated areas in District five. During my tenure as Mayor of Moreno Valley, I brought exciting programs, such as Hire Moval and the Homeless to Work program. I look forward to bringing programs such as these to the county level.
