The Community Risk Reduction Program helps provide a career path and resources to youth who are interested in becoming firefighters while increasing the firefighter and public safety workforce.

Youth from ages 16 to 24 work for 8 weeks at 20 hours a week and $20 per hour. During this time, youth develop their skills and career as a firefighter through hands-on training, career counseling, and networking opportunities.
